After reading “Jason Wingard’s EdTech Griftopia”
I am not surprised that the grift continues.
My question now is does any one know the salary of the current President of Temple? His salary at Drexel was over $2 million annually when he left Drexel with a substantial deficit – I believe $65 million – after a spending spree buying real estate.
Does this sound familiar? When Fry began at Temple a loss of $25 million was projected and now it s $65 million after a similar spending spree.
And last, it seems that there are monthly announcements of endowments for new buildings . Does anyone calculate the increased cost of operating expenses related to these new buildings. Or is it assumed that the cost will be covered by tuition from declining enrollment.
As a 3 time alumn I only want the best for the University, the students, and the staff. Hopefully who ever reads this wants the same.
